Death on the Nile

In Agatha Christie's 1934 detective novel Death on the Nile, famous detective Hercule Poirot's Egyptian vacation turns into an investigation when Linnet Ridgeway, a wealthy young heiress, is found shot to death aboard a Nile river steamer.
