Ernest Hemingway

Ernest Hemingway (1899–1961) was a legendary American novelist and journalist, awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1954. Renowned for his economical, direct writing style (the "Iceberg Theory"), his work heavily influenced 20th-century fiction. Notable works include A Farewell to Arms, The Old Man and the Sea, and For Whom the Bell Tolls.
