Bram Stoker (1847–1912) was a celebrated Irish author and theatre manager of the Victorian era. He is best known as the author of the iconic 1897 Gothic horror novel Dracula. For much of his life, he worked as the business manager of the famous Lyceum Theatre in London and as the personal assistant to the legendary actor Sir Henry Irving.
